Homewood Disability Treatment Program

The demands of managing an organization have never been greater.

Escalating drug costs, wage replacement, disability premiums, lost productivity and compromised competitiveness create a compelling business case for a strategy to manage disability in the workplace.

Managing disability that is due to a mental health or addiction issue requires a specialized set of skills and resources. Homewood is recognized for the breadth of our clinical expertise, innovative approach to case management and our commitment to sustainable outcomes. We offer a comprehensive Continuum of Care to address a full spectrum of disability that is due to mental illness and/or addiction.

The program is designed to provide employees with immediate access to our team of mental health specialists who will provide a comprehensive mental health assessment designed to determine the recovery needs of the employee. Employees will be streamed to the most appropriate treatment modality.

Recognizing the need for varying levels of intervention, our program includes both an outpatient and inpatient stream of services, as well as a continuing care component designed to support sustainable return to work. In every instance, the Case Manager who conducts the initial assessment will remain engaged with the employee throughout the recovery and return-to-work process. In this way, we provide continuity of care and seamless communication.
