Managing Conflict

Diversity is a powerful tool, yet we must learn how to use it.

Conflict that is not managed well typically results in high levels of
stress for those involved.  When this happens, an individual’s ability to communicate effectively is often compromised and so it can be difficult for them to resolve the conflict that is causing distress.

When individuals know how to manage conflicting views and styles constructively, we find the gifts that diversity contributes to our workplace and performance.
